How to install and use AdGuard VPN for Linux

Download AdGuard VPN for Linux

To install and configure our Linux VPN client, you need a command line. To open it, press Ctrl+Alt+T.

To install the release version, type:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardVPNCLI/master/scripts/release/install.sh | sh -s -- -v

Agree to link the binary to usr/local/bin by pressing Y.
Log in to your account

To use AdGuard VPN for Linux, you need an AdGuard account.

You can sign up on our website or in a terminal.

To log in or create an account, type:

adguardvpn-cli login

Connect to VPN

Select a VPN server location that best suits your needs.

In general, the closer the server is to you, the faster the connection.

To view available locations, type:

adguardvpn-cli list-locations

To connect to a specific location, type:

adguardvpn-cli connect -l LOCATION_NAME

Replace LOCATION_NAME with the city, country, or ISO code of the location you want to connect to.

For quick connect, type:

adguardvpn-cli connect

AdGuard VPN will choose the fastest available location and remember it for future quick connections.
Adjust your settings

Get a list of all available AdGuard VPN commands and customize the VPN client to your needs.

To view all commands, type:

adguardvpn-cli --help-all

for iOS

To get AdGuard for iOS beta build please first install Testflight, then open the link below on your iOS device. AdGuard VPN will appear among the available apps inside your TestFlight app.

For early access to all the latest changes and newest features of AdGuard VPN for Android, install the beta build. To do so, click the button below and follow the instructions on the page.

Everything related to AdGuard VPN for Android can be found and discussed on GitHub.

In order to take part in Nightly testing you first need to join a special Google group. To do it please follow this link and click "Join group".

Important: use the same Google account as the one that you're using on your device.

Once you join the group, you can install the Nightly version from Play Store by following this link.
